Ukulele Junior & Parent Club plus The Quirkies

OUR FESTIVAL PERFORMANCE with the Junior and parents club went very well yesterday at the East Finchley Summer Festival in Cherry Tree Wood. At the end of their set Helen and I – The Uku-Ladies – managed to squeeze one last song that went down rather well too. We were lucky to be the first act on the Archer's Community Stage and, as I got there early enough, we were able to sound check and make the best out of the twenty minutes slot we had. Our young performers and mums were at their 3rd public performance and more and more confident with their ukes and singing! Thanks to everyone who was there to cheer us on and those of you who tweeted about our stage time! Which was changed after the programme had gone to print! A special thanks also to Gail Cole the organiser and James Brown for taking these pictures and shooting a video which I can't wait to share with you!
